Motor Neurone Disease Association of WA

MNDAWA is a registered charity and support organisation that works with people living with Motor Neurone Disease, their families and carers throughout WA.

MNDAWA has provided support for people living with MND since 1983. It is a member of the Motor Neurone Disease Association of Australia, and the International Alliance for ALS/MND.

We also support the research efforts seeking to find the cause and cure for MND.

The Association (MNDAWA) has grown to provide a comprehensive Care Advisory Service partly funded by the Health Department. It is however, very reliant on donations and grants from service organizations, Lotteries Commission, charitable foundations, corporate sponsors, individual donors, and our own fundraising efforts, to maintain and develop services particularly as demand constantly grows.

The success of the Association is due to the work of a dedicated group of Board Management members, staff, volunteers and people living with Motor Neurone Disease.
